Monroe County sheriff deputies are hoping someone can help them find a man they say was involved in a burglary today at a pharmacy on Secor Road in Bedford Township.

The man was one of three individuals who fled  the scene. The other two were tracked down and apprehended by a canine unit after fleeing when they were surprised by a deputy who happened to be driving by while on patrol, according to the sheriff's office.

The burglary occurred about 3:45 a.m. at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy at 7473 Secor Rd. near West Sterns Road. The deputy noticed that the pharmacy's rear door was open and then saw a vehicle parked nearby with its engine running.

As the deputy exited her vehicle, two men ran out of the pharmacy and ran away while a third man, who had been lying down in the vehicle, also fled.

A short time later, someone called 911 to report two men prowling in her backyard not far from the burglary scene. A canine unit then apprehended the pair. Names are being withheld pending formal charges.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff's Office at (734) 240-7700.
