Monroe County sheriff deputies asked for help Friday in finding a man they say was involved in an overnight burglary at a pharmacy on Secor Road in Bedford Township.

The man was one of three who fled the scene after a deputy who happened to patrol past the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, 7473 Secor, spotted an open rear door and a car parked nearby with its engine running.

As the deputy exited her cruiser about 3:45 a.m. Friday, two men emerged from the drugstore and ran away while a third man, who had been lying down in the parked car, also fled, deputies said.

Soon thereafter, police received a 911 call about two men prowling in a back yard near the burglary scene, and a police dog tracked them down. Their names were withheld Friday pending arraignments.

Anyone with information about the third suspect is asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff's Office at 734-240-7700.
