Toledoan skirts jail in stabbing

BOWLING GREEN — A Toledo man who stabbed a Lake Township man after a dispute was placed on community control for three years Tuesday by Wood County Common Pleas Judge Robert Pollex.

Terrance Sandridge, 25, of 1117 Norwood Ave. also must complete an offender treatment program at Northwest Community Corrections Center in Bowling Green, have no contact with the victim, and perform 80 hours of community service.

Sandridge had pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and tampering with evidence in the June 7, 2012, stabbing of Daniel Schmidt, 37, at the Evergreen Apartments in Perrysburg Township.
