MONROE — Two burglaries of commercial businesses were reported to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office on Sunday about 90 minutes apart.

The first was at 4 a.m. at the Medicine Shoppe, 7473 Secor Rd., Bedford Township, where the front door glass had been broken out. Medication was stolen, the sheriff's office said.

The second was at 5:30 a.m. at the Verizon Wireless store at 2161 Mall Rd., Frenchtown Township. Store management told authorities it would take a while to determine what was stolen.
