Oak Harbor woman admits delivering drugs to her imprisoned son

An Oak Harbor, Ohio, woman has admitted in Lucas County Common Pleas Court that she delivered illegal drugs to her son when he was an inmate at the Toledo Correctional Institution.

Ann Goode, 42, pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified government facility, while her son, Zachary Redfern, 21, pleaded guilty to one count of complicity to that charge.

Goode told the court she took some marijuana, oxycodone, and Alprazolam to her son Oct. 9. She is to be sentenced April 8.
