Toledo police are hoping someone can help them solve a homicide that occurred earlier in February.

Lamar Booker, 23, of Toledo was pronounced dead in the parking lot of Club Status, 3122 Airport Hwy., at 3:50 a.m. Feb. 16, police said. A single bullet tore through his chest and pierced his heart, according to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.

Police reported that a fight started inside the club and security kicked out the offenders.

The fight continued in the parking lot despite security’s attempts to break it up. During the fight, someone pulled out a gun and shot Booker once.

Police ask that anyone with information call the Crime Stopper program. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
