An Oregon woman told police she was pulled out of her Jeep in a North Toledo store’s parking lot by an armed man who stole her car and ran her over on Tuesday.

Diane Sharlow, 63, was in her sport-utility vehicle parked at Meijer, 1500 E. Alexis Rd., about 6:30 p.m. when she was accosted, a Toledo police incident report said.

The woman told police the man took her cell phone, showed a gun, and threw her onto the ground.

Ms. Sharlow was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center for treatment, police reported. Police said she is the wife of an Oregon police officer.

The suspect was described by authorities as white, heavy-set, and in his mid-20s. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark gray pants. The vehicle is a black 2009 Jeep Liberty with Ohio license plate CFY5342.
