Toledo police hope someone can help them find those responsible for a recent rash of tire and rim thefts in the city.

Police said someone has been operating during dark hours, jacking up vehicles, setting them on concrete blocks, and then stealing all four tires.

The thefts started about Sept. 1. Since then, there have been dozens of thefts of tires and factory-issued rims, all with similar characteristics, according to police.

Those with information are asked to call the Crime Stopper program. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
