I-475 ramp reopens after cleanup of tractor-trailer crash in Sylvania Twp.

The southbound ramp to U.S. 23 from I-475 in Sylvania Township has opened to traffic after being closed about six hours for an accident cleanup.

The expressway was closed because of a crash of a tractor-trailer rig that overturned and spilled a load of steel, Sylvania Township police said.

There were no injuries, police said.

The ramp opened as about 3:30 p.m. today, according to police. The crash, which occurred about 9:10 a.m., remains under investigation.
