Police today charged and arrested a Toledo man who is accused of killing his ex-wife.

Charged with murder is Ronald Boaston, 41, of 1126 Amanda Circle. Police allege that he killed Brandi Gonyer-Boaston, 28, of Springfield Township, at the Amanda Circle home on Feb. 14, according to court documents.

Ms. Gonyer-Boaston died of asphyxiation; her body was found Feb. 15 in a running vehicle parked in a Fulton County field.

Hunters found the mother of six inside the vehicle, which was parked on County Road N between County Road 8 and State Rt. 109 in Royalton Township near Delta, Ohio.

In court documents, police wrote that “various forms of forensic evidence implicate the defendant.”
