MONROE — A tractor-trailer rig fire closed northbound I-75 in Monroe County early today, Michigan state police said.

A dispatcher at the police post in Monroe said he had no information about injuries.

The crash occurred about 6 a.m. about five miles north of the Ohio-Michigan line, the dispatcher said.

About 90 minutes later, the lanes remained closed.

The incident is under investigation.
