Toledo Fire and Rescue gets $162,000 U.S. grant
5/1/2014Toledo Fire and Rescue Department will receive a $162,000 federal grant for unspecified “operations and safety” purposes, the office of U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D., Toledo) announced Wednesday.
The Assistance to Firefighters grant is through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Toledo fire Lt. Matthew Hertzfeld said he could not comment because the fire department had not received official notification.
