Police seize $200,000 worth of marijuana

Police found marijuana valued at more than $200,000 while searching a West Toledo home Thursday.

Officers reported finding 129 marijuana plants with an estimated value of $206,400, 3 pounds of marijuana, plastic bags, scales, equipment for a grow operation, and $247 cash during a search of 2007 Barrows St. The search, according to court documents, was allowed by a resident.

Dustin Doust, 31, of the Barrows address is charged with trafficking in drugs, illegal manufacturing of drugs, and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $20,000 during his arraignment later Thursday in Toledo Municipal Court, and he remained in the Lucas County jail afterward.
