East Toledo woman killed in car crash

An East Toledo woman was killed late Friday in Northwood when her car went off the road and overturned as she tried to pass five vehicles, Northwood police said.

Eleanor Biller, 68, of Woodville Road, was eastbound on Williston Road near Bradner Road about 11:05 p.m. Friday as she went off the left side of the road. The car continued traveling through a field, hit a utility pole, went airborne, landed on the driver's side, but then rolled twice.

Ms. Biller was thrown from the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

She had not been wearing a seat belt, police said.
