OAK HARBOR, Ohio — A body found Tuesday on a Carroll Township beach is believed to be one of two men missing from a boating accident last month, though officials are awaiting the coroner’s results to release a positive identification.

Sheriff Stephen Levorchick said a man’s body was seen washed up on a beach by Division Street near the Green Cove condominium complex. The body will be taken to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office for identification, the sheriff said.

The body appears to be one of two men who have not been found since April 17, when a boat with four people on board was found submerged in Lake Erie off Locust Point.

The bodies of Amy Santus, 33, of Perrysburg Township and Paige Widmer, 16, of Pelion, S.C. were recovered. Missing are Bryan Huff, 32, of Rossford and Andrew Rose, 33, of Maumee.
