'Hazardous' weather approaching NW Ohio

Essentially all of northwest Ohio remains under a hazardous weather outlook issued by the National Weather Service.

Fulton, Williams, Defiance, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert, Lucas, Wood, Ottawa, Sandusky, Erie, Hancock, Seneca, Huron and Allen counties in Ohio and Hillsdale County in Michigan are among areas where there is a chance of thunderstorms today with a slight risk for severe thunderstorms later in the day. The primary risks will be damaging winds and large hail.

There is a chance as well for thunderstorms Monday through Thursday night with Tuesday afternoon the most likely time for strong to severe storms with heavy rainfall that could cause some flooding.
