Northwood authorities are looking for two suspects who broke into a local laundromat earlier this month after they used a toddler to disable a surveillance camera on the property.

The male and female suspects are accused of entering Northwood Coin Laundry. 375 E. Andrus Rd., on May 16 and then while the female suspect did laundry, the male suspect broke open a lock box and removed keys to the business and entered a storage room, authorities reported.

On a video inside the laundromat, the male suspect can be seen using a toddler to grab wires that lead to a surveillance camera to disable it.

A Northwood dispatcher said today that the department has not received any calls with information about who the suspects might be. It was not immediately clear what was taken from the scene.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Sgt. Doug Hubaker at 419-691-5053.
