FINDLAY — Hancock County sheriff’s deputies responded to a three-vehicle crash Wednesday that sent multiple people to Blanchard Valley Hospital.

Todd Koelsch, 39, of Tiffin was waiting about 2 p.m. to make a turn off State Rt. 12 when his vehicle was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by Austin Ream, 20, of Findlay, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said. Mr. Koelsch’s vehicle was then hit by a vehicle driven by Kelsea Ferris, 25, of Rawson, Ohio, according to the release.

Three children were in the car with Ms. Ferris, including a 5-day-old infant, who was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital as a precautionary measure, the sheriff’s office said. Mr. Koelsch was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital by ambulance.

The hospital said Wednesday no one by that name was a patient.
