Motorcyclist dies from May 31 crash
6/7/2014MONROE — A Taylor, Mich., man who was injured last weekend in Frenchtown Township when the motorcycle he was operating was struck by a car has died, authorities said Friday.
Dakota Frazier, 21, of Monroe, the driver of the car, was arrested at the scene of the May 31 crash that initially injured motorcyclist Lynn Skeans, 69.
Mr. Skeans was pronounced dead at 7:03 p.m. Thursday at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, according the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, which did not release the charges.
Preliminary autopsy results indicate Mr. Skeans died of blunt-force injury to the head and neck consistent with the traffic crash, said Dr. Maneesha Pandey, a Lucas County deputy coroner.
