Information sought in solving thefts

WAUSEON — The Fulton County Crime Stopper program is seeking information about the thefts of tools last month from a garage and construction trailers in Lyons and from a garage in Wauseon.

Someone broke into a garage and two trailers at a residence in the 14100 block of County Road 11-2 in Royalton Township, just southwest of Lyons, Ohio, and took numerous power tools valued at $5,800, authorities said. The homeowner reported the incident May 27.

Two days later, another homeowner reported that someone had burglarized his garage in the 16700 block of County Road D in Clinton Township, just west of Wauseon, making off with power and hand tools with a total value of $2,905.

Anyone with information about the break-ins is asked to call 800-255-1122.

The Crime Stopper program offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest.
