Police search for suspect in central-city shooting
6/24/2014Police are investigating a Monday night shooting that injured one person near Norwood and Waite avenues in Central Toledo, police said.
The victim was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center from the location of the shooting, just north of Dorr Street. The shooting was reported about 7 p.m.
Police were told the gunman, who was about 16 to 21 years old and wearing light-colored jeans and a black T-shirt, fled the scene, and a black vehicle might have been involved.
