Police identify central Toledo shooting victim
7/11/2014Police identified a man who was shot early today as Anthony Jeffers.
The victim, 33, told police he was asleep in his home at 3341 Parkwood Ave. when two masked men came in and asked, “Where‘s the money?” One of the suspects then fired at least once, striking the victim in an arm, and fled. The shooting was reported at 6:08 a.m.
The victim was taken to ProMedica Toledo Hospital for treatment; the injuries were described as nonlife threatening.
