Trove of coins, shotguns, liquor stolen from Bowling Green home

BOWLING GREEN — Police said two shotguns, collectible coins worth up to $20,000, and more than a dozen bottles of liquor were taken from a home.

Police said the burglary likely happened on July 4, between 3 and 11 p.m., when the homeowner was out.

Some of the property that was missing from the home included: $500 complete set of uncirculated Franklin halves in a book; $700 album of Indian head pennies; $6,000 in assorted U.S. coins (1999-present); $300 complete set of uncirculated presidential $1 coins; $200 complete set of uncirculated Native American $1 coins; $600 in uncirculated Washington quarters (1963-present); $700 worth of uncirculated Kennedy halves (1963-present); $600 in Jefferson nickels (1938-present), uncirculated, and $8,000 in Washington quarters (1999-present).

Police ask that anyone with information call 419-352-2571 or the Wood County Crime Stoppers at 419-352-0077.

Information that leads to a conviction could be eligible for a reward.
