Man charged in ice cream shop robbery

A man who allegedly robbed an ice cream shop at gunpoint earlier this month was arraigned today in Toledo Municipal Court.

Donovan Ryan, 43, of 753 Plymouth St., is charged with aggravated robbery for the July 21 hold up at Deb‘s Soft Kreme, 1326 Navarre Ave. Ryan was ordered to remain in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $75,000 bond.

He is scheduled to be in court again for a preliminary hearing on Aug. 6.
