Firefighters seek man who fell into lake
Search on-going at subdivision near King, Angola roads
8/10/2014Firefighters from Toledo and Springfield Township fire departments are searching for a man who fell from a pontoon boat into a private lake at the Hidden Harbor subdivision near King and Angola roads, authorities said.
The report about a person in the water made reported shortly before 7 p.m. today to the township fire department and Lucas County EMS.
Toledo Fire Department‘s Water Rescue Unit also responded to the lake near East Shore Line Road a short time later.
Lucas County Sheriff’s deputies and a Toledo Fire Battalion chief also were called to the scene.
According to Lucas County Sheriff John Tharp, dive team members were still in the water looking for the person who fell from the watercraft.
