Toledo police arrest man wanted for murder

A 19-year-old wanted in connection with a May murder was arrested Friday afternoon by Toledo police SWAT and gang units.

Police said that Michael Darnell Gaston, Jr., was taken into custody about 5 p.m. at 2221 Auburn Ave.

In June, Mr. Gaston of 1760 Macomber St. was charged with murder in the May 25 shooting death of Sheymarr Noble in the 2100 block of Joffre. Three others were wounded in the midday shooting.

Mr. Gaston was held Friday night in the Lucas County jail.
