Two people dead after snowmobile crash

Two people were killed Friday night after their snowmobile struck a dock near Ottawa River.

Jessie Smith, 33, and Jakob Smith, 20, were traveling northeast along the river, according to a Toledo police news release.

The crash occurred just before 11 p.m. near the Riverview Yacht Club at 5981 Edgewater Dr.

Both Jessie Smith and Jakob Smith were pronounced dead on the scene.
