Democrat exits Allen County commissioner contest

LIMA, Ohio - A Democrat challenging GOP Allen County Commissioner Sam Bassitt has withdrawn from the race.

Temi Cano, a former member of Delphos City Council, said he has been caring for his ailing mother in Texas and has not had the time to devote to his campaign. Still on the ballot is nonpartisan candidate Antelle Haithcock.
