COLUMBUS - Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman, who is seeking the Democratic nomination for governor in 2006, plans to kick off a three-day bus tour at his childhood home in Toledo Saturday.

"We are starting out by hitting the road to listen to the concerns and ideas of Ohio's families in big cities, suburbs, and small towns," Mr. Coleman stated.

Mr. Coleman's campaign said the tour is set to start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at his former home, 1135 Prospect Ave., in Toledo, and the final stop that day will be at 7:30 p.m. at the IBEW Hall in Lima, where an issues forum will be held.

In between, Mr. Coleman plans to make stops in Wood, Henry, Fulton, Williams, Defiance, and Van Wert counties.

Sunday, Mr. Coleman plans to cover Allen, Hancock, Seneca, Sandusky, and Erie counties. Monday's itinerary calls for stops in Huron, Crawford, Wyandot, Marion, Delaware, and Franklin counties.
