Members of the Northwest Ohio Peace Coalition today delivered letters to the offices of two federal legislators asking them to sign a pledge opposing more funding for the Iraq war or face possible sit-in at their offices until they do.

The letters were delivered this afternoon to the Toledo offices of U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D., Toledo) and U.S. Sen. George Voinovich (R., Ohio).

The local effort is part of the national Occupation Project, which is being conducted in more than 20 states, according to the peace coalition.
