Ohio Gov. John Kasich will speak at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday night, one of a series of speakers leading up to the keynote address by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus announced the lineup of Tuesday speakers at the four-day convention that begins Monday in Tampa.

The theme of the second day is "We Built It," a reference to President Obama's declaration at a campaign stop in Virginia that, "if you've got a business, you didn't build that." The Obama campaign said the President was referring to the publicly funded roads and bridges that help businesses succeed.

Mr. Priebus said that the convention proceedings "will remind America that we are a nation made great not by Washington but by the men and women who summoned the inner drive, discipline, and persistent effort to achieve their dreams within the free enterprise system."

The convention starts at 7:30 p.m., and will also feature speeches by actress Janine Turner, former Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum, U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte (N.H.), and Republican governors Scott Walker (Wis.), Mary Fallin (Okla.), Bob McDonnell (Va.), Bobby Jindal (La.), and Susana Martinez (N.M.).

The convention is to be held Monday through Wednesday in Tampa. The Democratic convention is to be the following week in Charlotte.
