Romney to appear at Defiance rally

DEFIANCE --The campaign of Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney announced today that the candidate will make at least two stops in Ohio on Thursday: in Defiance and in Cincinnati.

Mr. Romney is set to appear at Jet Machine in Cincinnati at 11 a.m. and later in the day he will appear at a Victory Rally at Defiance High School where he will be joined by country music singers John Rich and Randy Owen.

The Defiance appearance is planned for the football stadium at the school, 1755 Palmer Dr., and is scheduled to start at 7:50 p.m. Tickets may be picked up at the Defiance GOP headquarters at 106 Clinton St. from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, and part of Thursday.

There have been reports that the Republican candidate may appear on Thursday in as many as five cities in Ohio, considered a must-have for both Mr. Romney and Democrat President Barack Obama.
