Mitt Romney visiting Defiance Thursday


DEFIANCE — Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will campaign in Defiance on Thursday evening, completing a three-city swing of the state.

According to the Romney campaign, he will attend a victory rally in the Defiance High School football stadium, 1755 Palmer Dr., where he will be joined by country music singers John Rich and Alabama’s Randy Owen.

Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and the program begins at 7:15 p.m. There will be airport-like security.

Admission is free with tickets from or from the Defiance Republican Party headquarters, 106 Clinton St. The office is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
