3 public safety unions endorse Rep. Zorn
10/29/2012State Rep. Dale Zorn (R., Ida) has picked up three endorsements in his re-election bid from unions representing public safety personnel.
The Monroe County Assistant Prosecutors Association is giving him the nod because he “consistently supported law enforcement and will be an advocate in Lansing for the criminal justice system,” its president, Michael Brown, said in a statement.
Mr. Zorn also picked up endorsements from the Monroe County Corrections Officers Association and the Monroe County Deputy Sheriff’s Association.
Mr. Zorn’s opponent in the race for Michigan's 56th House District is Democrat Larry Crider of Dundee.
