Bidens coming to Fremont on Sunday

FREMONT -- Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill, will hold a campaign event Sunday in Fremont, with singer and songwriter Jason Mraz performing, Democratic Party officials said.

The event will be held in Building C of the Student Activity Center at Terra Community College, 2830 Napoleon Rd. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.

The Biden event is free and open to the public but tickets are required for entrance. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today. If tickets are still available, distribution will continue on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets can be picked up at the Obama headquarters office at 225 E. State St. in Fremont and at the Port Clinton campaign office at 131-A Maple St. Tickets will also be available at the Tiffin campaign office at 112 S Washington St.

The Fremont appearance is one of three the couple will make in Ohio on Sunday.
