Napoleon Rep. Wachtmann wins 81st House District seat

NAPOLEON - In the 81st House District, state Rep. Lynn Wachtmann (R., Napoleon) defeated Montpelier Democrat John Vanover, president of United Steelworkers Local 890L.

The seat includes Williams, Henry, and Putnam counties and part of Fulton County. Mr. Wachtmann had 35,948 votes to Mr. Vanover’s 16,841 votes, with all precincts reporting.
