Latta offices to accept high school contest artwork

BOWLING GREEN — U.S. Rep Bob Latta (R., Bowling Green) announced Sunday his offices would accept artwork from high school students for the 2013 Congressional Art Competition.

“The Congressional Art Competition is a tremendous opportunity to encourage and recognize the creative talents of our high school students from Ohio’s 5th Congressional District," Mr. Latta said.

Original artwork must be submitted by April 3. Applicants can drop off their application and artwork at one of the following district offices: 1045 N. Main St., Suite 6, Bowling Green; 101 Clinton St., Suite 1200, Defiance; 318 Dorney Plaza, Room 302, Findlay. Winners will be announced at the University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum April 20. The overall winner's artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol, alongside the artwork from other nationwide contestants.
