This week will be the last week for several public officials, and the first week for others. At 2 p.m. Tuesday, Mayor Nelson Evans will be swearing in Mayor-elect Mike Olmstead at the Municipal Building at 201 W. Indiana Ave.

Mayor Evans is finishing up his second-four year term. Joe Lawless and Sara Weisenburger are finishing their time on city council, while Barry Van Hoozen, Rick Rettig, and Jim Matuszak will be beginning their terms.

Perrysburg Municipal Judge Dwight Osterud will be retiring after holding the position for 24 years. Molly Mack will take over his position on the bench. Sue Larimer and Cal Smith will start terms on the Perrysburg Board of Education.

The superintendent will receive applications until Friday to replace Mr. Van Hoozen, who resigned from the board.
