Collins’ transition team to celebrate new mayor

New Toledo Mayor D. Michael Collins will be honored by his transition team on Feb. 1 at the SeaGate Convention Centre, 401 Jefferson Ave. in downtown Toledo.

The “Collins Cares Celebration,” open to the public, will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a $1,000 per couple VIP reception, followed by a cash bar and cocktail hour at 6:30 p.m.

The dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. with entertainment to follow.

The event is $100 per person with tables for eight people for $750.
