City to hold meeting 
on Trail realignment

City of Toledo officials will conduct an informational meeting Wednesday at the Erie Street Market regarding the proposed roadway realignment and intersection improvements to the Anthony Wayne Trail as it enters downtown at Erie and Lafayette streets.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Fountain Room of the Erie Street Market at 237 S. Erie St. The $3.75 million project includes relocating the Anthony Wayne Trail to align with Erie Street southwest of the intersection with Lafayette Street and reconstructing the Erie-Lafayette intersection as a standard four-legged signalized intersection. Construction is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2016.
