Billups no longer player on Beijing Games list
6/18/2008DETROIT - Chauncey Billups pulled himself out of consideration for a spot on the USA Basketball team in the Beijing Games, a person in the NBA told The Associated Press yesterday.
Billups, an All-Star point guard for the Detroit Pistons, might havee had a hard time making the team anyway with guards such as Jason Kidd, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul and Deron Williams available for the roster.

Delta High School has hired Brett Smith as football coach. Smith comes to Delta with a football background, including more than 14 years of high school coaching experience.
He is a graduate of the University of Toledo and Bowling Green. He coached at Bowsher High School in 2005 and also worked as the offensive coordinator and later as the defensive coordinator at Anthony Wayne.
