ALLEN PARK, Mich. The Detroit Lions say this weekend s game against Minnesota won t be televised within a 75-mile radius of Ford Field. The team says

about 7,000 tickets remained unsold yesterday afternoon.

PONTIAC, Mich. The city of Pontiac is accepting bids again for the former home of the Detroit Lions.

The Detroit News reports the deadline for bids for the Silverdome is Monday. Pontiac has tried repeatedly to sell the Silverdome after the Lions left in 2002 to move to Ford Field in Detroit.

The Oakland Press reports there have been some inquiries about the property.

The Pontiac City Council in July approved selling the Silverdome for $20 million to Detroit-area attorney H. Wallace Parker, who planned a $175 million development. But a Nov. 1 deadline to close the deal passed.

Parker says he wants to move forward with a project that would include a family entertainment center, restaurants and clubs. But he says environmental contamination at the site has caused delays.
