Ex-BGSU star Reimold tags first career HR

NEW YORK Former Bowling Green State University standout Nolan Reimold hit his first career Major League home run, a solo shot off Yankees closer Mariano Rivera in the ninth, but it wasn t enough as Baltimore fell 11-4 to New York last night.

Nick Swisher hit the first of three consecutive homers that sent Phil Hughes and the Yankees to their eighth straight victory. Robinson Cano and Melky Cabrera also hit solo shots to right field in the second inning against starter Jeremy Guthrie all with two strikes.
