A lot of kids grow up worshipping NFL players, but Nate Washington, a Scott High School graduate and member of the Tennessee Titans, expressed admiration for Jarred Wise, 11, when he met him Monday at the Ronald McDonald House in Toledo.

Jarred, a cancer survivor, received a football from Washington and told him that he wants to inspire other children battling cancer. Washington, who won two Super Bowl rings with the Steelers, told Jarred he was inspired by his story.
