MIS to host Pure Michigan 400 on Aug. 19

DETROIT -- Michigan International Speedway will host the Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Aug. 19.

It was announced at the North American International Auto Show with drivers Ryan Newman and Sam Hornish Jr.

The three-year partnership between MIS and Pure Michigan began last year when Kyle Busch won the race.
