Mike Holmgren out as Browns president

Cleveland Browns president Mike Holmgren.

CHICAGO, Ill. -- Cleveland Browns President Mike Holmgren is out as team president, league sources have confirmed.

Holmgren is expected to retire at the end of the season.

Browns new owner Jimmy Haslam is expected to announce the move at his 1 p.m. press conference Tuesday afternoon.

Former Eagles President Joe Banner will join Haslam in Cleveland as CEO and could be introduced as soon as Wednesday morning in Cleveland.
