COLUMBUS — The Mud Hens saw their four-game win streak snapped with a 5-3 loss to Columbus on Friday.
Toledo starter Duane Below was rocked for four runs in the opening inning. Tyler Holt scored on a single by Jesus Aguilar to open the scoring. He and Giovanny Urshela both scored on a single by Roberto Perez.
Audy Ciriaco capped the rally with a run-scoring double.
The Mud Hens scored three times in the second off Columbus starter Toru Murata. Jordan Lennerton scored on a double by James McCann, and he went home on a double by Wade Gaynor. Later, Ezequiel Carrera singled in Gaynor.
Neither team scored until the fifth when Urshela walked and Perez doubled him home.
