New quarters for carpenters

10/6/2001

Work is progressing on two buildings for area carpenters at the Crossroads of America development on East Arena Drive in Rossford.

A 42,000-square-foot training center for the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee is to be completed by mid-November, and the 15,000-square-foot union hall and office of the Ohio and Vicinity Regional Council of Carpenters is to be ready by early next year, said Bob Homier, accountant for the union.

The union will move into the $5 million project, built by Rudolph/Libbe, Inc., of Walbridge, from Prouty Avenue in Toledo.
