Local delinquencies on mortgages at May rate
8/24/2012The percentage of Toledo-area mortgages that were 90 days delinquent or more stayed at 5.94 percent in May -- the same rate as in June, according to data released Thursday by CoreLogic, a California real estate data firm.
A year earlier, the percentage was 6.54 percent.
CoreLogic said the percentage of Toledo-area homes in some state of foreclosure in June was 2.9 percent, down from 3.02 percent in May and 3.58 percent a year earlier.
Foreclosure activity in Toledo was lower than the national foreclosure rate, which was 3.27 percent in June.
