The Secor Road property containing the 154,000-square-foot Elder-Beerman department store has been sold for $3.25 million to a local private real estate investor.

J&K Secor Property LLC purchased the 8.1-acre Elder-Beerman site on Jan. 10 from Toledo Secor-EB LLC, which had owned the site since 2005.

Joe Belinske, a commercial real estate agent for Reichle Klein Group, said the investors plan no changes in the property or its tenant.

Lucas County records list J&K Secor Property’s mailing address as a home in Lambertville that is owned by real estate investors Jeff and Kay Ziegler. In 2001, the Zieglers purchased the former Elder-Beerman store at the Woodville Mall in Northwood for $2 million and kept it until 2005, when they sold the 11.9-acre parcel and 109,000-square building for $3.5 million.
